What's included in your membership?

Do you know what's included in your membership at Barbell Strategy? We treat all our members equally. While we offer some special programming beyond our group S&C classes, we make it available to everyone, and for most things, we don't charge extra. We don't want to nickel and dime our members like a lot of other places do.

As an unlimited member, you have access to all our S&C classes. If you need to take a break from the group classes to train for something more specific, we will write programming for you and you can come in and work on it during coached hours in the afternoon. We can write you a strength program, a mass gain program, a recovery program if you have an injury, an Olympic lifting program. We also have weightlifting team practice, which is available to anyone interested in training for a competition. If you train in the afternoon or at evening team practice, you get access to Randy, who is an accomplished, experienced weightlifting coach. He is an incredible asset to our gym and works as well with beginners as with high-level competitors. We also offer special programs that you can do along with the regular classes, for example, the beginner strength program we just finished, the kettlebell program that's starting soon, and the fall rowing program. (We are charging a small fee for the rowing program after September to buy rowing team t-shirts and to pay our outside experts an honorarium.)

We may be small, but we offer a lot! As you get more comfortable with what we do in classes and start to become more experienced at the basics, be sure to take advantage of any or all of the extras to get some more in-depth skill.
