We want you to be strong


At Barbell Strategy, we want you to be strong. We believe that getting stronger can help you in everything you want to do, in or out of the gym, or even keeping you out of the hospital. Now that we've been open for about 6 months, we are going to tweak our programming a little. Everyone is making great progress, but we'd like to have a little more strength focus.

Now that you're back from the Thanksgiving holiday (unless you live in a place where the first day of buck season is also a holiday), we want to lay the ground work so you can hit the ground running when you start the new year. Starting today, every day we will cycle through one strength lift before we do the main workout. Every time we come back to the same lift, we want you to add weight (only 5 or 10 lbs). This really isn't a big change from our normal programming. We have always been, and will always be, focused on getting you stronger. We just wanted a little more focus on the core lifts so that we could revisit them a little more often to help you progress.

Save the date. We'd like all of the different classes to get to know each other and celebrate the holidays. We're planning to have dinner at Blooming Beets on December 12. Let Mike, Amy, or Randy know if you're interested so that we can make reservations. We love Blooming Beets because they follow our nutrition philosophy and everything on the menu is great.
