Nutrition > Training


I spend a lot of time here talking about how we should be training and how I structure your training to help make you stronger and more ready to live your life every day. However, nutrition is even more important to your health and fitness than the time spent in the gym. (Sleep is even more important, but I can't help you with that other than tell you to sleep - more than you are now!) As we descend on the new year, I know that the health/fitness/weight loss resolutions are coming. As you consider your health goals in the new year, make sure that you focus not only on getting into the gym more, but taking a close look at your nutrition.

We are huge fans of a Paleo approach to nutrition. It's worked wonders for us and our family, and it's a sensible framework to use when approaching nutritional decisions. We're not orthodox about it, and we want to you to find something that works in for you. Let us help you structure your nutrition as you set your goals for the new year. If you want a lasting change you need to look at what you put into your body, not just how much your work you do in the gym.

We love to talk about this, so please don't be afraid to talk to us about nutrition, whether your goals are mass gain, fat loss, or general improvement in your health. We've been tinkering with this for a very long time and would love to work with you.
