Working out in a group is better

Weightlifters and S&C class working as a group, lowering the perceived effort.
In case you missed it, Randy wrote a good post over at our weightlifting blog about how working out in a group can make you work harder and feel like the work is easier. Yesterday we had a good group of weightlifters working on their program while the S&C class joined the rowing team for a particularly hard rowing workout. I even participated in the row! A half hour of essentially 1:1 work:rest intervals was actually a ton of fun. As Randy said, make sure you try to get here at the same time as your friends - or make friends in your classes - it really does make the workout more effective and fun!

American Open. Randy is travelling to Reno this weekend to coach two of our lifters at the American Open. We'll compress Friday evening's schedule so that the Weightlifting practice overlaps with the S&C class. Normal hours Saturday.

Holiday Party at Blooming Beets. Please RSVP as soon as you can, we're going to have dinner at Blooming Beets on Dec 12 at 6:00 to celebrate the holidays. We'll also be announcing the winner of the Grinches vs. Elves competition there. Get in and get your score for your team.
