Looks like lots of people want to #BeAnAstronaut

Saturn V art in my house.
So it looks like there were a record number of applications for astronauts this year. From the looks of it, a whole bunch of my local friends have applied. It's not surprising - I'm a space nerd, I have lots of space nerd friends.

But there's more to being an astronaut than being a space nerd. You'll also need to be fit enough to handle the selection, training, and the mission. If you're a local space nerd who's applied to be an astronaut, get in here and get strong with a gym full of other nerds - you'll fit right in!

As Randy says: we're a gym run by PhDs and MFAs teaching weightlifting to a bunch of doctors, physicists, and engineers.  We are not your normal gym. We embrace our nerdy approach - where else can you get into a macroeconomics discussion right after burpees? And we have a smart, safe approach to training. We'd love to add some LEO-hopefuls next to our Olympic-hopefuls.

We use pound plates at Barbell Strategy - none of that elitist kilo stuff...
