Great start to the track season!

Our runners are having a great start to the track season. Last summer before cross country season and this winter before track season, we worked with Ric Rojas Running to give his athletes some extra strength and power work to complement their sport-specific training. Some have stayed with us through this track season too! Randy is a master of strength programming for non-strength-specific athletes - and it's really paying off. At yesterday's track meet, our runners had a great showing.

Lily, Vanessa: 1st & 2nd in the 100m
Kennedy, Sarah, Vanessa: 1st, 5th, & 6th in the 200m
Hannah, Kennedy: 1st & 5th in the 400m
Hannah: 1st in the 800m
Sarah: 1st in the Long Jump and Triple Jump
Zach, Stefan: 3rd & 7th in the 100m
Alex, Zach, Stefan: 1st, 3rd, & 9th in the 200m
Alex: 1st in the 400m
Zach: 1st in the Triple Jump

It's no surprise to me that these athletes are doing well this season - they worked hard and made huge gains this winter in the weight room.
