Heavy Friday

Melissa demonstrates that the setup for a deadlift is almost identical to the start of the KB swing.
A nice heavy day to end the week.  As summer rolls on, we'll continue testing our maxes on our main lifts. If you're new to this, this is when you go heavy so you actually have a number to base your percentages off of (that means remember your max!). If you've been doing this a while, use this as a test day to see how all of the strength work is paying off.

After you're done, don't forget to update your strength report here.



Workout

power clean 5x3
2 pull-ups between sets

then

deadlift 3-3-2-2-1-1-1 to a new 1RM



Endurance Option

power clean 5x3
2 pull-ups between sets

then/or

deadlift 3-3-2-2-1-1-1 to a new 1RM
