The Summer Olympics are almost here!

IOC, please don't sue us: this image came from here. It's labeled for reuse.
The 2016 Summer Olympic Games are almost here - opening ceremonies is Friday evening. I love watching the Olympics. I'm not much of a sports on TV kind of person, but I find the Games interesting and inspiring. I love watching the whole world come together in pursuit of athletic achievement, the competition, the stories of personal sacrifice, the record setting, the sheer talent on display. And I like that we get to watch sports that are a change from the usual televised events, from swimming to track and field to gymnastics to to rowing to weightlifting. Do you love to watch the Olympics? What are your favorite sports to watch? Do you come away feeling inspired to work hard, learn, and improve in your athletic endeavors? We can't all be Olympic athletes, but we can all share in their excitement.

Quick housekeeping notice: Randy is teaching a USAW course at the gym this weekend, so we will be closed all day on Saturday or Sunday. Sometimes, Randy will open the gym during the lunch break, if you really need to get into the gym this weekend, shoot him an email and see if it will work for him. Otherwise, take the weekend off and enjoy the mountains.
