A preview of what's coming up this month


I think Randy's month of getting comfortable with discomfort has rekindled some feelings for the kettlebell.  He pointed me to this last week: 1HLC.  These guys are some friends of Randy's and it looks like they're doing a world-wide event in October. It also looks like Barbell Strategy is a satellite location for this event. Hmm, wonder what you'll be doing on the 22nd?



Workout

squat 3x5
2 pull-ups between sets

then

12 rounds with full recovery
as a complex
1 power clean
3 front squats
1 hang clean
1 jerk
start light and add weight as you can, be scared on the last few rounds



Endurance Option

accumulate 15 squats a 5RM
2 pull-ups between sets

then/or

12 rounds with full recovery
as a complex
1 power clean
3 front squats
1 hang clean
1 jerk
start light and add weight slowly
