One week until the 1HLC

On Saturday we will be opening up the gym to the public for a fun event: the One Hour Long Cycle. The actual event is 60 minutes of long-cycle kettlebell clean and jerks, and people are doing it all over the world. It's a charity event raising awareness and money for organizations supporting individuals with Multiple Sclerosis. (We'll get you the link to the donation page later this week.) You can participate as an individual (Solo Style) or as a five-person team (Relay Style), or you can just come help out and cheer on the participants.

The hour starts precisely at 12:00. If you're a member and you'd like to participate, show up by 11:45, giving yourself enough time to warm up and be ready to go.

If you're visiting Barbell Strategy for the event and you've not done a workout with us before, please try to show up around 11:30 so that we have time to get you in our system and squared away with a waiver.

After the hour, we'll celebrate with drinks from Suerte Tequila. Please plan to come on down to the gym and join us for some camaraderie and festivities.
