Thanksgiving Week Schedule


Saturday's clinic went really well. We had a great turnout from the community! I wish I had seen more members there. Jordan ran a great seminar, you can learn a lot from her. If you missed this one, mark your calendars for the next two - C&J on December 17 and Snatch on Jan 14. The clinic this weekend was a great introduction to the squat and deadlift and all of their variants. Jordan covered a ton of material very quickly. The next two will be focused approach to the classic Olympic lifts.

Here's the schedule for this week: Randy will be at the gym on Thanksgiving day from 12:00-2:00. No other classes or practice scheduled for Thanksgiving. Friday, Randy will hold normally scheduled hours, but you must sign up ahead of time so that he knows you'll be there. We'll hold only one class at 5:30 - so get your Black Friday shopping done and then come in for a good workout. Saturday will be normal hours.

Ben is in town for the holiday and Saturday is day 364 of squats. If he shows up for the Saturday morning class, you can guess what we'll all be doing.



Workout

front squat 3x5
5 push-ups between sets

then

slowly work up to a heavy single (proper) clean
5-5-3-3-2-2-1-1-1



Endurance Option

accumulate 15 front squats at 5RM
5 push-ups between sets

then/or

slowly work up to a heavy single (proper) clean
5-5-3-3-2-2-1-1-1
