Sometimes it can be fun to use a $1000 weightlifting bar for curls

I'm often very elitist with my programming. We don't do bench press or curls - the kind of stuff everyone does at a commercial gym, where every Monday is bench day :)

I do actually have reasons for skipping those exercises - most of you have heard my rants about that before. But sometimes it can be fun to work on the beach muscles. Jordan's powerlifting cycle has us doing bench twice a week and sometimes she throws in curls as accessory work. More than one of us has commented on the nostalgia about when we started lifting (many) years ago when we all spent too much time on chest and arms.

We're having a ton of fun in that class, the energy is great. If you haven't checked it out yet, give it a try - it's best to give it a full week so you can see what it's like.
