This week's strength program


Kevin brought us some kettlebells for our gym anniversary present. I was just saying last week how I didn't get enough kettlebell work in our strength program. Get ready for some fun this week.

Now I need to fill in the 40 and 44 and we'll have a complete set.







Warm-up

row 500 / run 400
crawling lunge
10 KB swings or snatches
double KB overhead lunge
10 TGUs or windmills
10 goblet squats
5 pull-ups or push-ups or dips

Strength

clean pull 8-5-3x5

Accessory/Skill

2 windmills between strength sets

Group Workout

work up to the heaviest kettlebell press you can do
then
drop down a bell size or two and do 5 rounds of the complex:
5 double suitcase deadlifts
5 double cleans
5 double front squats
5 double presses
5 double jerks
