Press to Impress Cycle 3

The third cycle of Randy's Press to Impress starts this week. The few that have been consistent with the first two rounds have seen some great improvements.  I'm really noticing that you guys are getting bigger - you're going to need to buy some new shirts soon.

This is deload week for the strength program.  I've included a link to the normal end-of-cycle deload for those of you who are doing the program remotely. But for the folks in my class, we'll be doing a week of kettlebell complexes - we need to practice some of the skills and it light enough weight that it will work just like a normal deload week.





Warm-up

row 500 / run 400
crawling lunge
10 KB swings or snatches
double KB overhead lunge
10 TGUs or windmills
10 goblet squats
5 pull-ups or push-ups or dips

Strength

front squat 8-5-3x5

Accessory/Skill

2 TGUs between strength sets

Group Workout

AMRAP 12
3 push press AHAP
5 TTB

then

5 rounds
5L, 5R KB front squat AHAP
