New Kettlebell Class Starts Next Week


Jeremy has offered to do a new hardstyle kettlebell class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon. If we can get enough interest, he would like to do an early morning class too - so be sure to let him know if you'll commit to getting up early.

Amy loved the workshop last weekend and said that Jeremy's a great teacher, so be sure to check out the new class if you can make it. I'll nag him for a description of what he's planning, but I wanted to get the announcement out now so that you can plan on showing up next week. We'll also use this class as prep for the TSC coming up on the 28th.

I promised something special with the TSC: If you're a green-shirt you should remember our other Jeremy who left for the Army last summer. He just arrived in FOB REDACTED in Afghanistan and we want to send him a big care package since he'll be there for the next 9 months. (You may not be familiar with the term FOB, but I am since I work for an evil defense contractor - it means Forward Operating Base, or where the scary stuff happens.) So we want to use the TSC as a time to collect donations so we can put together a big care package.

Amy's currently researching what deployed soldiers say they want, so don't go buy anything right now - we can do better by collecting money and buying in bulk at Costco. Amy's looking for a helper for shopping and organizing, so if you're interested in that, please let one of us know. We'll get all those details out soon, but in the meantime, plan on coming to the TSC as a competitor, judge, or spectator, and if you can, bring a donation in to help us get together a big shipment for Jeremy.
