Happy 4th of July

No classes today - it's the 4th of July. Celebrate freedom without blowing your fingers off.

Take time to reflect on your freedoms - especially the freedoms that you lost in the last year. It's the nature of government to grow and take more power, and it happens insidiously. Don't take liberty and freedom for granted, and don't allow the tyranny of the government to win.

We made an accidental tradition of doing "The Bear" during 4th of July week, and Brian always reminds me of it. It doesn't really follow with our current low-rep strength program, but one day won't hurt you. Feel free to take any day this week and do The Bear: 

1 rep of The Bear is: 1 power clean + 1 front squat + 1 push press + 1 back squat + 1 behind-the-neck push press.

1 set is 7 reps without putting the bar down - the cleans need to be touch-and-go.

The full workout is 5 sets with as much rest as you need, add weight each set.
